Quick update

Sorry I've been so hit or miss on posts. We haven't been feeling all that great at our house. I started laying down for the night at 9pm a few weeks ago but last night after a long day of struggling to hold down food I ate a tube of crackers and was in bed shortly after 8pm. I didn't think hubby would join me for a few hours but he crawled into bed before I was even asleep.

But I have a few new products to share with you guys and I have had . . . . two appointments recently.  Hopefully I can get to that tonight after we get the shopping done. I hope everyone is well and having a wonderful hump day.

Bump!

So my three or so readers you probably already know....... I'M HAVING A BABY! Yep pretty darn exciting! It has been the farthest from easy but we are so happy it's ridiculous. I probably wont share lots about appointments or drama or too personal stuff but sometimes things are just too fun to keep to myself.
So right about now I'm 10ish weeks along. I know right, 10ish that doesn't even make sense and you are right. Here is the deal, I know exactly when our little skrimp came into existence. I'm obsessive and I track everything so trust me I know. But my "care professional" somehow doesn't think the baby is big enough for that date to be right. Anywho so we are expecting the newest S family addition the first week of November.
I think I will post a weekly little update and if nothing new is really happening I might skip a week here and there or put up some neat products I've found or nursery ideas. Let me know once I get going what you like.

Bump Check: I can definitely tell I have a bump but you can't notice with most of my office clothes. I've swapped out my jeans for the lower riding ones that have been in the drawer since last summer.

Confession: I just finished a Snapple Peach Tea, with 42mg of caffeine and green tea, Gasp. (I'm not worried about it, it's far below the 200mg limit.)

Crave: Vegetarian taco salad, Morning star veggie burgers and Shredded chicken tacos.

Product Love

Last month I found a great deal on Yes To Carrots body butter. Free! Over the last six month I have made the switch to mostly natural beauty products and though I was a little nervous about what this would smell like I figured it being free was the prefect opportunity to give it a try. I love it! It has no earthy or veggie smell at all. It is very moisturizing but melts into your skin without leaving any greasy residue.

Today I went to Walgreen's and picked up Yes To Tomatoes skin clearing mask because my face has had some breakouts lately. The mean ones that hurt and are red and you can't get clean or to go away. Yeah, those ones. The consistency of this product was thick and creamy, smells just as good as the body butter, dried in five minutes without the itchiness or sting that comes with some masks and rinses off very easy. Only con I can see is it might be over drying for some but since I did a stronger mask last night that may have something to do this it.

How I got both of these products at a discount: I used Target coupons to get two travel sized body butters for free. I don't think that coupon is available any longer but if so it is definitely worth the trip to get yourself this free item. I used the $3 off $10 coupon from Yes To's facebook page to drop the cost of the mask from it's original $14.99 price.

So far Yes To products are really great quality and I love the smell. My hubby told me that he overheard some girls in one of his classes going on about their hair products, I might just have to give them a try soon.

It's been a long time

I haven't posted in a long time and just looking at my blog was discouraging so I'm starting over and since I'm closing my etsy store to go in a different directions this will not be about what is happening with that in-devour. Instead I will be posting about what is happening in my life as a newly married-working-20something, currently loved product and blogs, couponing and hobbies. I hope that this is more enjoyable for all of us. Can't wait to you about a few products I can't stop using.
